  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 250 milliliters water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Drain and rinse the canned mixed beans thoroughly under cold water to remove any excess sodium.

Step 2

Peel and finely chop the large onion.

Step 3

Peel and minced the garlic cloves.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Step 5

Add the chopped onion to the saucepan and sauté for about 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent.

Step 6

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Step 7

Add the canned crushed tomatoes and tomato paste to the saucepan, stirring well to combine.

Add the rinsed beans to the saucepan, stirring gently to ensure they are evenly covered by the sauce.

Step 11

Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
