Ingredients

  • 18 oz Cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 3 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.

Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Use a spoon to break up the turkey as it cooks.
