Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup, packed Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 2.5 cups Old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups M&M candies

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, use a hand or stand mixer to cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

Step 3

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 6

Stir in the rolled oats and M&M candies until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 7

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten each cookie with the back of the spoon or your fingers.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers look slightly underbaked. The cookies will firm up as they cool.

Step 9

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 10

Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or freeze for longer storage.
