  • 1 cup seared chicken, shrimp, or beef (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0 salt (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the rice ahead of time to ensure it is cool and dry; this helps achieve the best texture for fried rice.
