Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Hershey's milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Pecans, chopped and toasted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat; set aside.

Step 2

Toast chopped pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant. Remove from skillet and let cool.

Step 3

In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, heavy cream, unsalted butter, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture begins to boil. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the Hershey's milk chocolate chips until fully melted and the mixture is smooth.

Step 5

Add the toasted pecans and vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture, stirring until evenly combined.

Step 6

Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop small heaps of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart slightly.

Step 7

Let the pralines cool at room temperature for about 1 hour, or until completely set. Alternatively, you can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to speed up the hardening process.

Step 8

Once set, store the pralines in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Enjoy!
