Ingredients

  • 4 medium heirloom tomatoes
  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves

  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the heirloom tomatoes into thick wedges and place them in a large serving bowl.

Peel and thinly slice the red onion. Add the onion slices to the bowl with the tomatoes.
