  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 15-ounce can cooked or canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 15-ounce can cooked or canned white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 piece bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
