Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 0.5 cup fresh blueberries
  • 0.5 sliced banana
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, unsweetened almond milk, and water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and have absorbed most of the liquid.

Step 3

Stir in the ground cinnamon and chia seeds. Remove from heat and let sit for a minute to allow the chia seeds to thicken the oatmeal slightly.
