  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon (optional, for garnish) fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Wash the beets thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Wrap each beet in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.

Roast the beets in the oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are fork-tender.
