Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 50 grams Rolled oats
  • 100 grams Spinach, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large Egg white
  • 1 tablespoon Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, rolled oats, chopped spinach, minced garlic, chopped onion, and egg white.

Step 3

Add the low-sodium soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and black pepper to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.

Step 4

Using your hands or a scoop, form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 6

Add the meatballs to the skillet in batches, searing them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

Step 7

Transfer the seared meatballs back to the baking sheet.

Step 8

Once all meatballs are seared, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
