  • 1 packet Active dry yeast

  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 8 links Lean turkey sausage
  • 1 large Egg white
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix whole wheat pastry flour and salt. Add the flour mixture to the yeast mixture gradually, mixing well to combine.

Step 3

Melt the unsalted butter and combine it with non-fat Greek yogurt and honey. Stir the mixture into the dough until fully incorporated.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place it in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size in a warm place.
