  • 400 grams cooked kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 500 milliliters low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0 teaspoon salt (optional, or to taste)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick pot over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until it begins to soften, about 4-5 minutes.
