Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Turkey breast
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Low-sodium chicken broth

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped rosemary, dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper to make the glaze.

Step 3

Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan. Use a basting brush to coat the turkey breast evenly with the honey glaze, ensuring to cover all sides.

Step 4

Pour the low-sodium chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan. This will help keep the turkey moist during cooking and create flavorful drippings for a sauce, if desired.

Step 5

Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil to retain moisture and place it in the preheated oven.

Step 6

Roast for about 60 minutes, then remove the foil to allow the turkey to brown. Continue roasting for another 30 minutes or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 8

Serve the turkey slices with your choice of heart-healthy sides, such as steamed vegetables or whole grain stuffing.
