Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 pieces Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.125 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Add the rolled oats and water to a blender. Blend on high for 30-40 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 2

Pour the blended oat mixture through a nut milk bag or a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth into a large bowl, squeezing or pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the remaining oat pulp.

Step 3

Rinse out the blender to remove any residual oat pulp.

Step 4

Return the strained oat milk to the clean blender. Add the pitted Medjool dates, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend on high until the dates are fully incorporated and the creamer is smooth, about 30 seconds.

Step 5

Pour the oat milk creamer into a glass bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Step 6

Before each use, shake the bottle or jar well, as natural separation may occur.

Step 7

Enjoy your homemade oat milk creamer in coffee or tea for a heart-healthy addition.
