Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) Salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cracked black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt, optional
  • 1 whole lemon (sliced into rounds) Lemon slices

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, chopped parsley, cracked black pepper, and salt if using.

Step 2

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 3

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag.

Step 4

Pour the lemon herb marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour for more flavor.

Step 5

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking.

Step 6

Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade and allow any excess marinade to drip off. Reserve the marinade.

Step 7

Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down if applicable. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 8

While the salmon is grilling, brush it once or twice with the reserved marinade for additional flavor.

Step 9

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

Step 10

Serve the grilled salmon with lemon slices on top or on the side. Garnish with additional fresh herbs as desired.
