Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Lobster tails
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Sea salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the middle without cutting into the meat, then gently pry open the shell to expose the meat.

Step 3

Brush the exposed meat with olive oil, ensuring it's well coated; this will prevent it from sticking to the grill.

Step 4

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped basil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, and sea salt. Stir to combine and warm the mixture for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant, but do not let the garlic brown.

Place the lobster tails flesh-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until the shells are bright red and the meat is just cooked and slightly opaque.
