Ingredients

  • 16 whole Fresh strawberries
  • 100 grams Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher, unsweetened)
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped nuts (optional, for topping)
  • 1 pinch Sea salt (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Ensure they are completely dry, as any moisture can prevent the chocolate from adhering.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will prevent the strawberries from sticking as they are coated with chocolate.

Step 3

In a small saucepan, add the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Melt them together over low heat, stirring continuously to prevent burning. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate and oil in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Once the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, remove it from the heat source.
