Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground chicken breast
  • 60 grams whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 120 grams low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken breast, whole wheat breadcrumbs, egg white, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each portion into a patty roughly 1/2 inch thick.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 5 to 6 minutes per side or until they are cooked through and have reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Remove from skillet and set aside.
