Ingredients

  • 500 grams lean ground turkey
  • 300 grams lean ground beef
  • 30 grams brown rice flour
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 whole lemon, wedges for serving

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground turkey and lean ground beef. Using your hands, mix until well combined.

Step 2

Add the brown rice flour, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, sea salt, and chopped parsley to the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 3

Shape the mixture into small sausages, each about 3 inches long and 1 inch in diameter.

Step 4

Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the pan with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Step 5

Once the pan is hot, place the chevapchichi sausages on the grill. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.

Step 6

Remove from the grill pan and let rest for a couple of minutes.

Step 7

Serve the chevapchichi with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top, which enhances the flavor and adds a refreshing touch.
