Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

Add 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix with a spoon until the ingredients are well combined and the dough begins to come together.
