  • 1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 cup Coconut oil (melted) or olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Step 3

Add the eggs, maple syrup, applesauce, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil. Whisk until well combined.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 10

Slice and enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
