  • 2 pieces Eggs, large
  • 120 milliliters Unsweetened applesauce
  • 60 milliliters Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 60 grams Chopped nuts (optional, e.g. walnuts or pecans)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

Place the chopped dates in a medium bowl and pour the boiling water over them. Stir in the baking soda and let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to soften the dates.
