Ingredients

  • 1 large Sweet potato
  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 large Egg
  • 12 pieces Mini tart shells (pre-made or homemade)
  • 0.5 cup Pecans
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Pierce the sweet potato with a fork several times and bake directly on the oven rack for approximately 45 minutes, or until tender. Allow to cool slightly.

Peel the sweet potato and mash it in a medium bowl until smooth.
