Ingredients

  • 1 large round sourdough bread loaf
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1.5 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Cut the top off the sourdough bread loaf and set the top aside. Hollow out the center of the loaf to create a bowl, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges. Save the removed bread pieces for dipping later.

Step 3

In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.

Step 4

Stir in the diced ham, shredded white cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly combined.

Step 5

Spoon the dip mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl, spreading it evenly.

Step 6

Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the bread bowl and the bread pieces you saved for dipping.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the bread edges are golden brown.

Step 8

Serve warm with the bread pieces, crackers, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
