  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray or butter.

Step 2

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, diced ham, blanched broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped onion.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Step 5

Pour the sauce mixture over the hash brown mixture and stir until everything is well coated.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.

Step 7

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese together. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.

Step 8

Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
