Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices Deli ham (thinly sliced)
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese (thinly sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally without separating the rolls individually. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3

Layer the ham slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, followed by a layer of Swiss cheese slices.

Step 4

Place the top half of the rolls over the ham and cheese layers.

Step 5

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.

Step 6

Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls, using a spatula or pastry brush to ensure all rolls are coated.

Step 7

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Step 8

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops of the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before cutting the sandwiches apart and serving warm.
