  • 1 medium lemon
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons red chili flakes

Directions

Step 1

1. Slice the halloumi cheese into 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) thick slices.

2. Zest the lemon and set the zest aside. Then, cut the lemon in half and juice one half. Reserve the juice for later.
