Ingredients

  • 6 pieces large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a medium-sized pot and cover them with cold water, ensuring the water level is about 1 inch above the eggs.

Step 2

Bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat. Once it reaches a rolling boil, cover the pot with a lid, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes.

Step 3

After 10 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a medium mixing bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a serving platter.

Step 5

Mash the egg yolks with a fork until smooth. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, paprika, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the bowl. Mix until the filling is creamy and well-combined.

Step 6

Using a small spoon or a piping bag with a star tip, fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture. Be generous with the filling to create a “double” amount on top.

Step 7

Sprinkle a light dusting of paprika over the filled eggs for a pop of color. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley for a touch of freshness.

Step 8

Serve immediately or refrigerate the eggs for up to 2 hours before serving.
