Ingredients

  • 5 cups Fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups Whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1

If using fresh corn, cut the kernels off the cob and measure out 5 cups. If using frozen corn, make sure it is thawed and patted dry.

Step 2

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the corn and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, just until heated through.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and milk. Add this mixture to the corn in the saucepan. Stir in the sugar and salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
