Ingredients

  • 1 pound Sirloin steak
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 8 Wooden or metal skewers

Directions

Step 1

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Step 2

Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

Step 4

Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to develop.

Step 5

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step 6

Thread the marinated steak cubes onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of red bell pepper and red onion.

Step 7

Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness.

Step 8

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Step 9

Serve the steak skewers hot, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
