Ingredients

  • 1 medium Pear
  • 2 ounces Blue cheese
  • 4 slices Bread
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 cup Fresh arugula
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Wash and slice the pear into thin slices, discarding the core.

Heat a small skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Place the pear slices into the skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly caramelized, then set aside.

Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
