  • 2 slices White or sourdough bread
  • 2 slices Bologna slices
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 slice Cheddar, American, or Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cooking oil (like vegetable or canola oil)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil and let it warm up.

Step 2

Place the bologna slices in the skillet and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown and slightly crisp. Remove the bologna and set aside.

Crack the egg into the skillet. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, until the egg white is set but the yolk is still slightly runny (or cook to your desired doneness). Remove the egg and set aside.
