  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red chili flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.

Step 2

Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread, spreading it evenly to the edges.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder and red chili flakes (if using) until well combined.

Step 4

Spread the cream cheese mixture on the non-buttered side of two slices of bread.

Step 5

Layer shredded sharp cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, and thinly sliced jalapeños evenly on top of the cream cheese spread.
