  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Dried thyme

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot or bowl, combine 2 cups of beer, 4 cups of water, 1/2 cup kosher salt, and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve completely.

Add the smashed garlic cloves, bay leaves, and black peppercorns to the brine mixture.

Submerge the chicken in the brine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
