Ingredients

  • 1 pound Roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Green chilies, canned, diced
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 4 pieces Hoagie rolls, split
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, diced green chilies, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the green chili spread. Set aside.

Step 2

Preheat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

Step 3

Butter the inside of each hoagie roll and toast them in the skillet until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
