Ingredients

  • 300 grams green beans
  • 200 grams fresh corn kernels
  • 200 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 10 leaves fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Step 2

Trim the ends off the green beans and blanch them in the boiling water for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp and bright green.

Drain the green beans and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, drain and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, add the corn kernels and dry-toast for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly browned. Remove from heat and let cool.
