Ingredients

  • 500 g ground lamb

  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 whole lemon lemon zest
  • 1 large, beaten egg
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, finely chopped red onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped mint leaves, dried oregano, ground cumin, ground cinnamon, and lemon zest.

Step 2

Add the beaten egg and breadcrumbs to the bowl. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.

Mix everything thoroughly using your hands or a wooden spoon until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
