Ingredients

  • 7 cups Water
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 bags Black tea bags
  • 12 ounces Frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 12 ounces Frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 2 cups Vodka
  • 24 ounces Lemon-lime soda (e.g., Sprite or 7Up) for serving

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the black tea bags to the boiling water and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and set the tea aside to cool slightly.

Step 3

In a large heatproof mixing bowl, combine 5 cups of water and 2 cups of sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 4

Add the brewed tea, frozen orange juice concentrate, and frozen lemonade concentrate to the sugar-water mixture. Stir until the concentrates are fully incorporated.

Step 5

Add 2 cups of vodka to the mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture to a large, freezer-safe container with a lid. Place the container in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight. The mixture will not freeze solid due to the alcohol content but will develop a slushy consistency.

Step 7

To serve, scoop the vodka slush into glasses and top off each serving with lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to combine and enjoy immediately.
