  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (for frosting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
