Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 0.5 yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or your choice of cooking oil)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 set your choice of burger toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc.)
  • 1 set your choice of condiments (mustard, mayo, ketchup, etc.)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, dill weed, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2

Add the egg and breadcrumbs to the mixture. Use your hands or a large spoon to mix thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly combined.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 3/4 inch thick.

Step 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, place the pork patties in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Step 6

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in a separate pan or toaster if desired.

Step 7

Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked pork patties onto the bottom halves of the buns. Add your desired toppings and condiments, then cover with the top halves of the buns.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy!
