Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef (85% lean)
  • 4 slices Smoked Gouda cheese, sliced
  • 8 slices Bacon
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 0.25 cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato, sliced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a grill, grill pan, or skillet to medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix to keep the burgers tender.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties, about ¾ inch thick. Press a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing while cooking.
