Ingredients

  • 3 large Russet potatoes
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Peel the russet potatoes and grate them using a box grater. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible.

Step 2

Finely chop the green onions and fresh parsley and set them aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until everything is just combined.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. To test if the oil is ready, drop a small bit of the potato mixture into the oil; it should sizzle immediately.
