Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Bone-in pork chops
  • 1 large Yellow onion
  • 10.5 oz Golden mushroom soup
  • 1 packet Onion soup mix
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Season the pork chops with black pepper on both sides and set aside.

Step 2

Thinly slice the yellow onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer the pork chops to the crock pot.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened. Add to the crock pot, spreading evenly over the pork chops.

Step 5

In a medium bowl, whisk together the golden mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and beef broth until well combined.

Step 6

Pour the sauce over the pork chops and onions in the crock pot, ensuring the chops are fully covered with the mixture.

Step 7

Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours, until the pork chops are tender and fully cooked (internal temperature of 145°F).

Step 8

Once done, carefully remove the pork chops. Stir the sauce in the crock pot to combine and thicken it slightly.

Step 9

Serve the pork chops topped with the onion sauce, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Pair with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
