Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups Gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
  • 1.5 teaspoons Xanthan gum
  • 1 tablespoon Instant yeast
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1.75 cups Luke-warm water
  • 1.5 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Cornmeal or gluten-free flour (for dusting)
  • 0 as desired Your favorite pizza toppings

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour blend, xanthan gum, instant yeast, and salt.

Step 2

In a separate medium-sized bowl, combine the luke-warm water, olive oil, honey, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly using a wooden spoon or electric mixer with a dough hook. The dough will be quite sticky, which is normal for gluten-free bread.

Step 4

Cover the bowl loosely with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rest at room temperature for about 2 hours. During this time, the dough will rise slightly but may not double in size due to the nature of gluten-free flour.

Step 5

After the resting period, preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat as well.

Step 6

Dust a sheet of parchment paper with cornmeal or gluten-free flour to prevent sticking. Scoop out the desired amount of dough (about half for a large pizza or divide for smaller pizzas) onto the parchment paper.

Step 7

Using oiled hands or a spatula, press the dough out into a thin, even circle about 1/4 inch thick. Leave a slight raised edge for the crust if desired.

Step 8

Carefully transfer the dough on the parchment paper onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.

Step 9

Bake the crust for 10 minutes to partially cook it. Remove from the oven and add your favorite pizza toppings.

Step 10

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the toppings are cooked to your liking.

Step 11

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Step 12

Enjoy your gluten-free pizza with friends and family!
