Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Gluten-free fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Minced garlic
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and ground black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5

Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

Step 6

Slowly whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 7

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the Alfredo sauce, ensuring they are well coated.

Step 8

Add the cooked and drained pasta to the skillet and gently toss everything together until the pasta is fully coated with the sauce.

Step 9

Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top and serve hot.
