  • 1000 ml Whole milk
  • 80 grams Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 30 grams Butter

Directions

Step 1

Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds using the back of a knife.

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, vanilla seeds, vanilla pod, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it reaches a gentle simmer. Do not let the milk boil.

Once simmering, remove the vanilla pod.

Gradually add the gluten-free semolina to the simmering milk while continuously whisking to prevent lumps from forming.

Step 5

Continue to cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for about 15 minutes until the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency.
