Ingredients

  • 1 package Gluten-free puff pastry
  • 100 grams Cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 150 grams Sliced turkey breast
  • 100 grams Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Roll out the gluten-free puff pastry to a rectangle about 10x12 inches on a lightly floured surface.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and Dijon mustard together until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border on one side.

Step 4

Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the cream cheese mixture.

Step 5

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the turkey slices.

Step 6

Place the fresh spinach leaves over the cheddar cheese.

Step 7

Starting from the side without the border, gently roll the pastry into a log. Seal the edge with the 1-inch border by pressing it gently.

Step 8

Cut the log into 16 even slices using a sharp knife.

Step 9

In a small bowl, beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash. Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the egg wash.

Step 10

Place the pinwheels cut side up on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper.

Step 11

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Step 12

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
