Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Gluten-free English muffins
  • 2 pieces Gluten-free breakfast sausage patties
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Step 2

Cook the gluten-free sausage patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Once done, remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the whites are fully set, then flip and cook for an additional minute. Transfer the cooked eggs to a plate.

Step 4

Slice the gluten-free English muffins in half and toast them until golden brown.

Step 5

Spread the remaining butter on the cut sides of the toasted English muffins.

Step 6

Assemble the sandwich by placing a cooked sausage patty on the bottom half of each English muffin, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese. Top with the cooked egg, and then cover with the other half of the English muffin.

Step 7

Place the assembled sandwiches back into the skillet over low heat, cover with a lid, and allow them to heat for about 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

Step 8

Serve the sandwiches hot and enjoy!
