Ingredients

  • 1 package Gluten-free pizza dough mix
  • 0.75 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.25 cup Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 pieces Pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup Button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free pizza dough mix with warm water, olive oil, and egg according to the package directions. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.

Step 3

Lightly dust a clean surface with gluten-free all-purpose flour. Transfer the dough onto the floured surface and knead gently for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Shape the dough into a round pizza base, about 12 inches in diameter. Use your hands or a rolling pin for even thickness.

Step 5

Carefully transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper. Place the parchment with the dough onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.

Step 6

Bake the pizza base for about 5-7 minutes until slightly firm and dry to the touch.

Step 7

Remove the partially baked pizza base from the oven. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 8

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange pepperoni slices evenly across the pizza.

Step 9

Scatter the sliced mushrooms over the pepperoni, and sprinkle with dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.

Step 10

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly with golden spots.

Step 11

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the top before slicing.

Step 12

Slice the pizza into 8 pieces and serve hot.
