Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 0.5 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 unit small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 units gluten-free slider buns
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese slices (gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 units lettuce leaves
  • 2 units tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 units pickles, sliced

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, gluten-free breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Step 2

Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and gently shape each portion into a small patty about the size of your gluten-free slider buns.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the beef patties to the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd them. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your skillet.

Step 4

Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip them over.

Step 5

Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover the skillet with a lid. Allow them to cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the patties are cooked to your liking.

Step 6

While the patties are cooking, prepare the slider buns by slicing them in half if they aren't pre-sliced.

Step 7

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a cooked beef and cheese patty.

Step 8

Add a slice of tomato and pickle on top of each patty and finish with the top half of the bun.

Step 9

Secure the sliders with a toothpick, if necessary, to hold everything in place. Serve immediately and enjoy!
